The Memorial Day Service was conducted in recognition of the men and women who have and are currently making sacrifices for our Country and freedom. We were invited to attend the service and we hope you will appreciate our coverage provided with photos of this suggestive day.
It was a beautiful morning when the service for Memorial Day 2004 began in front of the Community Mausolem at Evergreen Cemetery, the oldest such mausoleum in the State of Kentucky.
The Kentuckiana Detachement of the Marine Corp League, the Reverend Roger Dill (U.S. Army Reserve Chaplain/Pastor of Gateway Methodist Church), Major Allen Broussard and The Fern Creek High Marine Jr. ROTC along with the staff of Evergreen Cemetery and Funeral Home presented this special event.
