After earning a degree in Visual Art Technology from Indiana Technical College I worked as a freelance designer for advertising agencies in the Greater Louisville, KY area. I was then offered a position at a local monument company as head designer and art director, which I accepted.
During this time I completed the MBNA Correspondence Course. After working there for a couple of years, I decided to go back to my own studio and freelance advertising. After receiving numerous requests for memorial designs - the monument business won out.
As someone once told me "you get stone dust in your veins and cannot quit".
Guess that I did just that.
In the past 11 years I have worked for many wonderful companies from all over the world. They have helped me to grow and learn. They have forgiven my mistakes and helped me to go forward. My deep appreciation is extended to these companies for their patience with me over the years.
